The CDC reports a 2.56x increase in fully vaccinated deaths from June to July
297 in June to 670 in July
Yeesh. I want to preface this by saying that I’m all for the vaccine being a smashing success because a tiny sliver of my brain would love to buy into the fantasy that the world gets to return to normal after conquering COVID. If people want to put their faith to heal, faith to be protected, and faith in safety in the product of an admitted felon, that’s their right to do, no matter how ignorant or fear-driven I might think their decision is.
But y’all. We’re looking at a trend that isn’t being reported. Remember a few weeks ago when I wrote, “There was a 79.4% increase in breakthrough deaths in the fully vaccinated in May of 2021 over the previous 4 months combined?” It is so much worse than that now.
The CDC isn’t archiving a monthly or weekly update of hospitalizations and deaths in the fully vaccinated; they only give a running tally. You can use the Wayback Machine to try to get close to a certain date, but the CDC updates at different times so you won’t land on the first of the month if the CDC didn’t report on the first of the month.
We know the January 1 through April 30th death toll in the fully vaccinated was 160.
A few weeks ago I calculated the May-only death count in the fully vaccinated at 287.
The January though end-of-June (really, June 28th because the CDC updated June 28th and July 6th, I went with June 28th) breakthrough total death count for the year was 879, see below.
Here’s how I calculated the June-only number if you want to check my math:
879 Total breakthrough death count for the year reported as of June 28
-160 deaths breakthrough January through April 30th
-287 breakthrough deaths reported in May
-223 deaths in fully vaccinated people that the CDC claims shouldn’t be counted because they were asymptomatic or unrelated to COVID.

Equals:
209 total breakthrough deaths June 1 through June 28, or roughly the month of June.
Now July.
1,507 total deaths in the fully vaccinated since January
-160 deaths breakthrough January through April 30th
-287 total breakthrough deaths reported in May
-209 total breakthrough deaths in June
-316 July breakthrough deaths the CDC says had nothing to do with COVID

Equals 535 COVID deaths in the fully vaccinated for the month of July, holy shit. I’m starting to understand why the CDC isn’t providing a weekly chart of this information.
To go from 209 breakthrough deaths in June to 535 in July is an increase of a factor of 2.56x or 156%. Now, is it possible that some June deaths got pushed into July because they were reported a few weeks later? Sure. But it’s also possible that May deaths got pushed into June, and that July deaths get pushed into August, so perhaps it all comes out in the wash, but no matter what, the death count won’t be any lower than reported in the beginning, and this trend doesn’t look good.
Let’s take a look at the total COVID deaths in the US for the month of July:
10,832 reported COVID deaths (this number has been updated 10/1, so should be accurate) and let’s remember that they don’t get same the courtesy of eliminating “unrelated” deaths that the fully vaccinated get, but let’s roll with it.
Remember that in May, by my calculations, deaths in the fully vaccinated (using the AP’s own definition that deems one-dose and two-dose-recipients-less-than-14-days-ago as “unvaccinated”) totaled 1.99% of all COVID deaths.
But for July, 535 deaths in the fully vaccinated divided by 6,571 total COVID July deaths is now 4.9% of all COVID deaths are in the fully vaccinated.
535 July deaths in a nation of 332 million people, 50% of which are fully vaccinated as of today, isn’t a huge number and I’m not about to Peter Hotez this situation and yell about the sky falling. But isn’t it interesting that no one is talking about the exponential growth of fatal vaccine failure at a time that corporations, cities, states, and the US military are mandating it for those in their charge?
