The Ministry of Truth strikes again
Yesterday the CDC took down their “breakthrough cases” page. The last update is above, at 10,857 deaths in the fully vaccinated since January. This page was located at https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/health-departments/breakthrough-cases.html, and it’s been replaced with a redirect to a page about how well the vaccines work.
So all of you can quit worrying your little brains about deaths in the fully vaccinated and focus on this racially diverse faceless rendering of a doctor and his family instead.
There is a link that says “cases and deaths by vaccination status” but before you say, “Quack, they just moved it, they didn’t hide it,” try clicking on it.
Do you want to add up 0.86 fully vaccinated deaths on one day, and 1.05 on another, and 0.74 on another, per 100,000 people in 15 reporting jurisdictions? These people don’t want you to know the number. Do you want to download a dataset spreadsheet with tens of thousands of lines?
They’re done reporting it, stop thinking about it, and don’t ask any questions.
I was furious when I saw they stopped counting after Oct 18th. I sent the CDC an email asking about it with pictures of their old charts and they sent me a response telling me what the definition of a breakthrough case was. 🤦🏼♀️ They also made a mistake on Sept 27th and Oct 4th by having the hospitalizations stay the same at 16,889 for both weeks. No way both weeks were the same. Deaths went up though. They just don’t want us to know the truth. So much for their semi transparency.

How anyone with any sense of empathy and humility can still work at the CDC?
But for those who've been around healthcare for a while, we've known it's job has been to provide cover for and not to uncover truth, regarding iatrogenic occurrences.
