The American Academy of Pediatrics' CEO is a gay rights lobbyist

The battle over parental rights has one common denominator

I’ve recently begun work on a new project that will be targeting specific individuals behind the laws, policies and reporting that has resulted in Americans losing parental rights and freedoms, and control over our own bodies. We’ll be targeting, amongst many other people, media reporters, media editors, journal editors, scientific researchers, local health authorities, and senior leadership at the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Wouldn’t you think the AAP is run by old, retired pediatricians? I did, but out of curiosity I looked at the senior leadership of the AAP for the first time in my life and well, well, well. If it isn’t the smarmy face of a gay Berkeley lawyer in jazzy bold frames smiling back at me.

WHAT THE HELL. This guy is the CEO of the organization giving marching orders to 60,000 practicing pediatricians in the US. I guarantee you they don’t even know it.

I did some googling around and would like to know why a childless gay man, whose entire (and meager, five year) pre-AAP career was at the HIV/AIDS law project and the AIDS Alliance for Children, is in charge of health policy for 73 million American children? People, we cannot stand for this! There are thousands of other jobs perfectly suitable for lovely gay Berkeley lawyers. Why is he running the American Academy of Pediatrics? Why hasn’t someone said something? He is a gay rights activist, and he’s helped turn the AAP into an activist organization.

His LinkedIn says he was a “Director of Government Affairs” which is just a fancy way of saying…

That’s right. He was a lobbyist. A gay rights lobbyist lawyer is the chief visionary of the AAP.

Did you wonder why the AAP endorsed masking children all the way down to two years old? Look no further than the same guys running Broadway shows in New York City. Did you wonder how in the world the AAP immediately signed on to vaccinating six-month-old babies for COVID of all things? Look to Fauci, amyl nitrite party poppers, AIDS, AZT and life-and-death fear-based religious devotion to pharma.

Did you wonder how the AAP came out in favor of irreversible, life-destroying puberty blockers for gender dysphoric kids once they begin puberty? Do I really have to answer that question? Mark here has his pronouns in his bio because nothing says “We believe in science” like being in charge of pronouns.

Mark Del Monte was at the helm of the AAP when the organization blocked pediatricians from voicing their objections to the AAP endorsing “gender affirming care.” He silenced them.

Before you think I’m homophobic I’ll share with you that my own alternative doctor of eight years is a gay man, and I wouldn’t see anybody else in the world. Do I think he should be making health policy for kids? No, I still don’t think that even though I’d agree with 100% of his health policies. And the point is moot, because he doesn’t even attempt to make health policies for kids.

Why are all kinds of groups of Americans allowed to reserve spaces for people who possess the experiences to belong there—except when it comes to making laws and policies that govern our children, nearly all of whom are born to heterosexual parents? If the way you live your life, by choice or not, is not conducive to making children, then why would you be entitled to govern other people’s children?
